I haven’t posted anything in a while so I figure it’s time. I’ve been in Playa Del Carmen almost 3 weeks now, and honestly it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long at all. In fact, I’m trying to remember what all I’ve done since then… hasn’t been much!
But that’s ok though, it’s still been a good time. I did get to go snorkeling yesterday near Isla Mujeres which was very cool.
I ended up getting to see a small sea turtle as well as a 2 foot Barracuda. And lots of fish of course!
As the title suggests I’ll be in Playa Del Carmen until the 20th of November, and who knows what’s in store for the next 5 and a half weeks.
There are some cool tours that I would like to go do, but that all depends on how focused I become. I’m still in a big stage of self improvement, which was a big part of my goal during this trip. My progress in that area will determine the things I get to do before I leave.
So that’s it for now.
Oh! I almost forgot that I did get to hold a nurse shark, which was about 6 feet long! The skin felt like sandpaper, and it was definitely a cool experience. I met a very cool couple from Ireland on the tour and they took pictures of me with the nurse shark. I’m supposed to get the pictures from them via email so hopefully they come in.
P.S. I got to see the underwater museum while snorkeling at Isla Mujeres, Google search it for some cool photos. Specifically I got to see the big cluster of human statues, the Volkswagen, and the man at the desk.
